We don’t always get what we want; it’s often funny how the world works. When we want something, it never seems to be there; yet, when we refuse that same thing it rears its ugly head at us. My dearest Britney, unfortunately you hesitated in deciding how you feel and now it seems this boy has moved on.

The opportunity presented itself last year, but you felt embarrassed and pushed this boy away. Now that you’re starting to realize how you felt about him in the first place, he’s moved on. Trust me…I know already…the world isn’t fair.

If you have any chance of trying to rekindle a relationship, then you’re going to have to face him head on. There is no way to apologize to him outside of speaking with him about how you feel. I’m not telling you to be over dramatic, because we all know that never works, but what I am saying is to simply apologize and infer the rest. Let him know that you regret the way you acted and hint that you may still be harboring feelings for him.

My best advice for you is to try the apologetic approach, but if that doesn’t work just move on. Since you only “kinda” like him, then there really is no loss either way. Just don’t go getting yourself into something you can’t dig your way out of.

Britney, you need to approach him and apologize; just allow nature to take its course from there. If you two really care about one another and feel such a strong attraction to each other, then eventually fate will play its powerful hand that even the mighty Hercules could not resist. Best of luck my dear and keep your chin up, never forget that boys don’t usually wear their hearts on their sleeves.
