You know you’re a pretty big deal when Gotham Magazine asks you to host their annual gala, hence Beyonce Knowles is a pretty big deal!

The “Bootylicious” babe arrived at the New York City shindig to assume her duties, stopping along the way to pose for the paparazzi.

And no wonder the shutterbugs were so eager to get pictures of the “If I Were a Boy” songstress - she looked amazing in a black form-fitting Rock & Republic turtleneck gown with her hair pulled back.

Probably the most notable aspect of Knowles’ ensemble, though, was her choice of earrings- a pair of black and gold Chanel globes. Swanky!
