Charlize Theron: Denver Darling
Her new film “Battle in Seattle” is the talk of the Impact Film Festival in Denver, Colorado, and Charlize Theron couldn’t be happier.
The “Italian Job” cutie and longtime boyfriend Stuart Townsend (who wrote and directed the film) were spotted meandering around the Mile High city yesterday, taking in the sights and giving the paparazzi ample opportunity for pictures.
Miss Theron recently told press, “I’m incredibly honored to be a part of this film. It is the kind of film that, when you walk out, really makes you want to go out and be proactive.”
“Battle in Seattle” (with a limited release on September 19th) takes place in 1999 during the protest of the World Trade Organization talks in Seattle, Washington. Although it began as a peaceful protest with a goal of stopping the WTO talks, it escalated into a full-scale riot and eventually a state of emergency.
Enjoy the pictures of Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend out for "Battle In Seattle" (August 26).
