Always a fan of a star-studded event, Katharine McPhee was stunning as she arrived at the 30th Anniversary Carousel of Hope Ball to benefit the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes this past Saturday night (October 25th).

The “American Idol” alum had the full attention of the paparazzi as she made her way down the red carpet outside the Beverly Hilton Hotel, sporting a black halter-style floor-length gown.

As for her American Idol gal pal Jennifer Hudson's recent family tragedy, Katharine expressed her sympathy and support in a recent statement to FOX Pop Tarts.

"It’s horrible. There’s nothing really positive about the situation other than just having her friends and the family that she has left to really come around and show the love they have for her and support. I’m just praying for her."
