Taking some time for herself, Jennifer Lopez was spotted doing some shopping in West Hollywood with a gal pal yesterday (October 28).

The “Waiting for Tonight” singer looked cool and casual in a light grey scoopneck top teamed with a pair of slim fit jeans, grey heels, and oversized black sunglasses as she topped by the Rochebobois store.

And it sounds like J. Lo’s ever-expanding entertainment empire just got another territory - television. Her production company Nuyorican Productions just signed a first-look deal with Universal Media Studios to develop a slate of new programs.

The new partnership will reunite Lopez with the NBC network, where she headlined a concert special a few years ago. Jennifer and partner Simon Fields are said to be developing a sitcom based on the singer/actress’ experiences growing up in the Bronx.
