Doing her best to win over country music fans, Jessica Simpson spent the weekend in Concord, N.C. for a few days of NASCAR fun.

Following a trip to pit row during practices on Friday, the "Do You Know" singer tossed on a Dale Jr tank top and black short shorts on Saturday night (October 11), performing at Lowes Motor Speedway prior to the Bank of America 500.

Meanwhile, talking about the switch over to country music, Jessica recently told press, "Country music is where my heart is. It's been a shock to the media and the outside world but, to my friends, family and loved ones, it's somewhere I've always been.

The "Dukes of Hazzard" hottie adds, "I'm not setting out to prove anything, I'm just trying to be me. Also, I feel I've been through a lot and I have a lot to say about it."
