With all of the rumors circulating about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston ending, John Mayer looks like he’s getting out of town for awhile.

The “Waiting on the World to Change” crooner left his house to stop by a recording studio before heading over to LAX International Airport to catch a departing flight.

The usually-paparazzi-friendly rocker was a bit camera-shy as he made his way through the terminal, pulling his black hood over his head until he reached the security checkpoint.

Of the breakup, a close friend of the former couple told press, "They had a great time together but they are just in different places in their lives right now."

And a Mayer pal revealed that there’s still the possibility that they could get back together. "He never ends things with a clean slate. He likes to dwell on these relationships and sort everything out before saying goodbye for good."
