All glammed up for what will be one of the biggest nights of her career, Katy Perry posed on the red carpet upon arrival to the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards held in Liverpool, England on Thursday (November 6).

Not only is the "I Kissed a Girl" singer at the Echo Arena for the night's festivities, but she's also taking over hosting duties at the annual awards show.

Ready for what's sure to be hectic times, Miss Perry revealed that she'll have 12 costume changes during the two hour ceremony.

Telling press about the massive rotating wardrobe experience, Katy said, "I asked how many Christina Aguilera had - and they said 9. So I said - I want 12!"
