With fiance Camilla Alves by his side, Matthew McConaughey attended the Wednesday night (September 10) premiere of his new movie "Surfer, Dude" in Los Angeles.

The "Fool's Gold" hunk's latest film, which he produced through his J.K Livin' productions, opens on Friday and is "a wave twisting tale of a soul searching surfer experiencing an existential crisis."

And now that his movie is headed for the theaters, McConaughey plans on focusing on his newborn son - without changing his outdoor active attitude towards life.

"Everyone talks about how much your life has to change," says the dad of two months. "It doesn't have to change so much. My woman, Levi's mother, is very adaptable, and loves to travel as well. So we said, instead of keeping Levi at home, 'If there's any place we want to go, honey, we don't want to say no because of Levi.'"

"So we're getting him out into the world and seeing things. There's a lot more prep-time before you go and when you come home, but that doesn't have to change the things you do as a family."
