If there was ever any doubt that Beyonce and Jay-Z tied the knot a few weeks ago, it had been put to rest. The newlyweds filed their marriage license this past Friday.

The paperwork, which lists their wedding date as April 4th, was officially filed with the Scarsdale Town Clerk, who says even though they waited past the usual 5-day requirement, there shouldn’t be a problem.

Three days prior to the wedding, the “Bootylicious” babe and her “99 Problems” hubby applied for the license in Scarsdale, New York, setting the rumor mills abuzz.

And then there was the whole hush-hush wedding, attended by Beyonce’s Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, as well as mother Tina, father Matthew, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

But still, they’re not actually officially announcing their marriage to the public. Perhaps they’re finally trying to keep private things private.
