Finding herself surrounded in controversy as of late, Michelle Williams attempted to clear her head with a family walk in New York City with half-brother, Jason, and daughter, Matilda, on Thursday (June 26).

The "Deception" actress recently denied rumors that a bust-up with Heath Ledger’s family is the reason she will not be present for the premiere of Heath’s last completed movie, “The Dark Knight.”

“The presumption that Michelle ever intended to attend ‘The Dark Knight’ premiere is unfounded, but to say she is ‘boycotting’ due to a rift with Heath’s family is absurd,” a rep for Williams told press.

The spokesperson continued on to say, “It is time to allow this family to go about their lives without this continued scrutiny and speculation.”
