Miley Cyrus Photographer Thinks Portrait is "Beautiful"

With so much drama surrounding the Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair shoot, photographer Annie Leibovitz has finally piped in - offering her perspective on the controversial "topless" shot.
"I'm sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted," Leibovitz said in a statement issued earlier today. "Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful."
Of the "topless" photo, Miley immediately issued a statement to People magazine telling: "My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed."
Not to be left out of the press frenzy, a Vanity Fair spokeswoman told of the photo in question: "Miley's parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley."

I said that i'm not buying that magazine.....but need to make it clear that i'm not buying it in support of miley - i don't want vanity fair to cash in on the torture they have put her thru.....

Miley's dad, mom and younger sister left the photoshoot before the "topless"(if you can even call it that) was taken. There is video that shows them saying goodbye to Ann. The fact that the magazine and Ann waited till the family left to take this shot just goes to show that they did in fact manipulate a 15 year old to sell magazines.... Miley said in the article "you just can't say no to Annie."

i have to say i think everyone is blowing this whole thing out of perspective
because the thing is you make it sound like miley can't think for herself
and can't make decisions i have to say i think that she is a 15 year old
which had a topless photo shoot so what it is not like she did porn or something.
i think that all those outraged mothers need to see that miley is 15 and just acting like a 15 year old having fun i mean if you think she is going to wear pink mini's and tops which are not revealing then you need to pick up a magazine and see that she is just doing what any other teen stars are.
she will grow up no matter what dumb mothers want.
