Keeping herself busy in the Big Apple, Natalie Portman was spotted directing her short movie for the upcoming anthology film "New York, I Love You" on Tuesday (April 29).

“New York, I Love You” is comprised of 12 short tales from different directors and is currently shooting across New York City’s five boroughs.

Meanwhile, Portman has also been cast to star in a new big-screen version of Wuthering Heights, adapted from Emily Bronte's classic novel.

In the film, the 26-year-old "V for Vendetta" actress will play Catherine Earnshaw in the movie adaptation after convincing director John Maybury she was perfect for the role.

And the film’s producer, Robert Bernstein, thinks the right choice was made, saying: “Natalie is an extraordinary actress and is right for the role.”
