Now that she’s a mommy, Nicole Richie has to be sure to dot all of her I’s and cross all of her T’s. And yesterday she was spotted making a good example for her little Harlow Winter.

The paparazzi caught up to the “Simple Life” starlet on her way to another session of court-mandated driving school in Los Angeles, California. And it sounds like her diligence in carrying out her sentence has made a good impression on the legal system.

A Los Angeles Superior Court clerk told press that the judge in her case has declared that Richie is “in compliance” with the terms of her probation.

And given the fact that she’s gone way above and beyond her obligated sentence to prove that she’s serious about straightening up, as well as started a charitable organization and been an exemplary mother to her daughter, it looks like Nicole has turned over a new leaf.
