With the rousing success of “Sex and the City: The Movie” earlier this year, fans have been wondering about the prospects of a sequel. And according to Kim Cattrall, there’s a second installment in the works.

During an interview on the UK talk show “The Paul O’Grady Show,” Miss Cattrall was asked, “Will there be a sequel.” And she responded with a resounding, “Yes there will!” Corroborating the story, a spokesperson for New Line Cinema revealed that they’re “in negotiations.”

Kim commented that fans haven’t been shy in asking for another SATC feature film. "The fans keep saying, 'Yes, one more.' The movie was so much fun to do and be part of again."

As for her real life personality, Kim confessed that she sees a little of Samantha, Miranda, and Carrie, but no Charlotte. "I never was a Charlotte. I can have a morning like Carrie, and I can have an afternoon like Miranda and I always hope for an evening like Samantha!"
