Lauren Conrad Talks Career Dynamics

Before she hit the MTV Reality TV scene, no one knew who Lauren Conrad was. But now that she’s the queen of “The Hills,” LC says she’s having trouble getting respect in her clothing design career.

At yesterday's Holt Renfrew clothing lauch in Toronto, Conrad told press, "Being on a reality show and then trying to branch out into designing, it's kind of a double-edged sword. I would not be able to have the line if I didn't have the reality show first or I wouldn't be able to have it so soon.”
